Dear Mr Edwards
My mother, has asked that I forward her thanks to you following her recent hip operation.
I too would like to add my thanks for the help you gave her and the communication you provided to her and myself during this time.
My mother said ..You are a lovely man who always spoke to her every day and kept her informed on her progress. She is pleased with her new hip and is making progress by doing her exercises every day (but not over doing it!).
She is glad to be back home but did enjoy her stay in hospital and being with such warm and friendly staff.
Dear Mr S Edwards,
Just a quick update on my progress so far, walking without crutches!! but with a stick, still feels a bit stiff but the exercises help and have a good range of movement. Starting swimming later this week and increasing the length of my walks the main goal by the end of this week is able to put my own socks on.
I would just like to take this opportunity to thank you and your team for the excellent work you do on a daily basis, giving me a pain free hip which will give me and my family a new lease of life also leaving me with no worries about having my other hip done in the near future.
Dear Mr Edwards,
It was good to see you last Friday for my post op revision, and to confirm that my recovery is going well. Indeed I am delighted to be pain free and to have such increased mobility.
I do thank you and all the surgical and anaesthetic team for the excellent job you have done for me.
Dear Mr Edwards,
Re: my hip re-surfacing operation that you did Mon. March 6th.
I would just like to thank you and your staff for the brilliant job you did for me. It has given me such a better quality of life. Many thanks once again to all concerned.
Dear Mr Edwards,
I would like to say the biggest Thank you for giving my husband a new and pain free lease of life. He had a double hip replacement on Thursday 25th May and has had a remarkable recovery. He has spent many years in chronic pain and the past two years in a wheelchair and has life has been very difficult for us. Thanks to you and your dedicated team he can now walk and has a second chance. We will not waste a second of it and plan to do things and go places we only dreamed of. Thank you again - you are truly amazing.
Dear Mr Edwards,
Thought you may like an update on my husband progress. You gave him a double hip replacement on the 25th May and his recovery has been amazing. He is pain free and can walk again after two years in a wheelchair. We are both delighted with the speed of his recovery. We are planning lots of things to do and places to go and have already booked to go to Italy in September (our favourite place).
Thank you again to you and your wonderful team, you really can perform miracles.
Dear Mr Edwards,
Just one last update on my husband progress. You kindly operated on him at the end of May giving him two new hips, it has been a total success.
We have just returned from a wonderful week in Italy (our favourite place) and has walked two or three miles each day without pain, which is marvellous after being wheelchair bound for over two years.
We have not wasted one single day of the second chance you gave us and try to go somewhere beautiful every day - coastal walks, the Dorset countryside and enjoy every minute. Thank you again.
Dear Mr Edwards,
As promised I am writing to tell you how I have got on since you performed a very good hip operation on me 31st August at hospital. You may remember that I had an epidural and wanted to go skiing with my husband on his 80th birthday!
I have recovered very well - after I month I was able to walk without any sticks and started aerobics and going on the treadmill in the gym. So I will be well on the way to playing tennis after Christmas and going skiing in February. It depends on whether I have the confidence to ski, I will not be stupid, only a few runs!
I cannot thank you enough for the marvellous operation you performed.
Dear Mr Edwards,
This is a short letter to thank you and all our team for the care and kindness you showed to me before, during and after my knee replacement operation. Could you pass on a special thank you to your anaesthetist who talked to me and reassured me throughout the operation.
I am making steady progress with my rehabilitation.
Dear Sir/Madam,
On the 7th December 2006 Mr Edwards operated on me and did a full knee replacement on my left knee, and I would like to say what a wonderful job he did, and his dedication on visiting me morning and evening.
Also, I would like to thank the brilliant nursing staff of the general hospital for all the personal way they treated me.
I also would like to thank everyone concerned who did my aftercare - physio and my transport drivers.
